In 1985, Larry received a BS in Finance from the University of Utah. The Finance degree took 7 years while Larry taught skiing full time at Park City, UT (as a fully Certified Instructor). This teaching experience gave Larry the skill to explain complex issues in simple, easy to understand ways. After college, Larry worked as a commercial real estate agent in San Diego selling over $100 million in properties over 5 years (mostly apartment complexes). A recession followed, and commercial real estate died. Fortunately at that time, the home loan business was excellent, and Larry seamlessly moved into helping clients buy and refinance their homes. 

Since 1991, Larry has excelled as a mortgage banker, mortgage broker and a branch manager for a large bank. Larry’s success has come from closing transactions on time, as promised and with great communication. For these reasons, Larry is often referred by real estate agents, accountants, financial advisors and attorneys.   

In 2005, Larry and his family moved from San Diego to Bend to slow life down + enjoy the Central Oregon outdoor lifestyle…the perfect place to raise their daughter and continue to grow the mortgage business.
